Elder Health Care

Does your parent's doctor know how to treat senior citizens?  Does he/she know that elderly symptoms are often different from a younger individuals?  Did you know this? If not, then at the very least, the primary caregiver should know all they can so they can remain proactive for their loved one.  This thought was brought home today while I was reading the July 1st,  New York Times op ed, The Patients Doctors Don't know.
