Because my husband, heart patient with mild diabetes, was complaining of exhaustion,without any exertion; I checked the seniors food peremid. I was astonished to see that pasta, whole grain bread, cereal, rice etc. were on the base. We had been on a constant diet controlling carbs. changing to more carbs, eggs and lean meat..has made a great difference. Google is a great tool for the elderly; if only they will use it.
